Rivington Morris are based in Bolton, Lancashire and celebrated their 30th anniversary a couple of years ago.

They perform dances in the traditional North West style and have developed a reputation over the years for energy and precision. The team enjoys attending folk festivals and has taken part in Warwick, Ely, Bromyard, Towersey, Beverley and Whitby Folk Festivals in recent years. The team dance a total of fourteen North West dances, many of which were collected from women who danced them in various Lancashire mill towns in the first half of the last century, hence their dances from Blackburn, Preston, Little Lever and so on. Rivington enjoy dancing and timorous they are not!
