Are
children welcome at Middlewich Festival? The answer is absolutely
yes, we do welcome children at the festival and into mainstage concerts
too! We like well behaved children of course and they will only
be allowed in to concerts accompanied by a grown up. There will
be a dance area at the front of the stage, just right at the quieter
concerts for putting down a blanket and getting a good view, not
recommended for the Levellers though or you will get squashed children!
And
there's lots of specialist children's entertainment lined up also.
Antics crew will face paint, have characters in the procession,
and run a children’s club in a marquee. Prof Panic has been
around and around, but now presents Panic
Puppets and Clowns with serious intent. With a team of flexible
and versatile workshoppers and performers (all committed to his
people-friendly, child-centred style) he is able to offer a fantastic
medley of entertainment.
The Wych Centre Youth club will all have 'things to do,' and Happenstance
will lead a children's session for young musicians. Mike
Jackson, children's entertainer from Australia will be on walk
about and doing something interesting with Ukelele’s on his
stall, and Tom
Lewis is doing a family show.
