Right everyone, there has been a technical hitch on the website which means the artist info isn't on yet and the website we know was down last week, so thank you all for your patience those of you have told me about the problems - thank you, we are on to it. Family Mahone has about 20 tickets available as we speak, and other concerts are selling well (from our point of view) so check out the artists we have on their own web sites and we'll make sure you enjoy the concerts. Do let us know if you have any problems and we look forward to seeing you in just a few weeks time, with friends and faces you know and love and artists new for you to enjoy.

Greetings. Lost In The Mist (who are Bob Webb, Ian Murfitt and me) are (or should that be is?) looking forward to entertaining the crowds at fringe events at the Kings Lock and Boar's Head.
Details at

www.bobwebbmusic.co.uk

From a purely personal viewpoint, may I say it's nice to be back....

Hi!

Anne & I want to go to the festival but don't have a car. We're looking for anyone who might be able to give us a lift back to Manchester on Sunday night. Costs covered obviously! Any help appreciated!

I will be available for most of this years festival taking photographs of people, dancing, music, displays etc and generally anything that I feel shows off the best of this outstanding event, just for my own photographic interests.

However, should there be anything particular that participants, or visitors (as per a previous post on this web page) would like to have recorded with a photograph of the event, then please make contact either via this post, or by making contact by using my e-mail. (See Web Page Gallery).

Before the event would be better !!

Examples of my recent work can be seen here

The weekends activity in Middlewich will be posted to my Photobox Gallery Page as above, in the week following the event.

Photographs provided to any participant (Via E-mail or CD) from the event are also available for "commercial" use, and will be supplied FOC (with Jpeg(s)) provided that when used for such purposes provide for suitable photographic "credit" for the photographer is included.

RIGHT, I am working hard to put this years' festival together and I know some of you have made contact with a view to finding out what's on and where, and how to buy tickets. Give Gadge our webchap a nudge and we should find info and details on how to buy tickets on this website as soon as he's got it up and running. Please be patient and we look forward to seeing you all.

Keep an eye out for what's happening with the boat festival this year, 'destination Middlewich' floating gardens, heritage boats. Craft stalls as always but more than before, festival ceilidh with Stömp and Pete Rees. Procession.... etc

So to answer a few questions!
Who's playing? JUNE TABOR, LAU, PEATBOG FAERIES, WARSAW VILLAGE BAND, CHURCHFITTERS, CHRIS AND KELLIE WHILE, ANTHONY JOHN CLARKE, ZOE MULFORD, RORY ELLIS, MARTIN SIMPSON, THE FAMILY MAHONE, NICK HARPER, NEIL BROPHY, JONATHAN KELLY, THE WEAVILS, THE MIDDLEWICH PADDIES, CALICO JACK, FULL HOUSE, BRAND NEW DAY, SHAKE THE BARLEY......and more!

Another recommendation: A relatively new group called Thistletown. Nice, somewhat out of the ordinary, and associated with Michael Tyack (Circulus) who is producing their first CD.

i'll second the levellers, my suggestions would be the sawdoctors, cara dillon and perhaps the men they couldnt hang.  And I believe hobo jones and the junk yard dogs went down a storm at the beautiful days festival perhaps we could tempt them oop north if we tried hard enough!!!  and i would be happy to welcome seth back again Wink
