Apologies for the delay with these suggestions. Some have played at MFAB recently. Some may be too expensive. I've heard all but one of them live. Contact links available if you need them.

i'll second the levellers, my suggestions would be the sawdoctors, cara dillon and perhaps the men they couldnt hang.  And I believe hobo jones and the junk yard dogs went down a storm at the beautiful days festival perhaps we could tempt them oop north if we tried hard enough!!!  and i would be happy to welcome seth back again ;)

Another recommendation: A relatively new group called Thistletown. Nice, somewhat out of the ordinary, and associated with Michael Tyack (Circulus) who is producing their first CD.
