To continue what has, so far, been a solo spot on this forum, can I ask what special events are being mounted to celebrate the anniversary of the festival? Are any of the bands from the last 20 years being invited back, as promised?
And what is happening on the fringe this year?

Any news yet of the line-up for 2010? Will there be favourite artists from the past, as promised, to celebrate 20 years of the festival?
What about the festival fringe? What venues will be used?
Will there be a return to using a marquee for the main stage, as I have read in some listings for the festival?

After a very busy week with the preperations for the weekend with MFAB and the general activities around Middlewich, I was able to spend quite a nice time over Friday & Saturday, covering as much of the Festival as was possible, but unfortunately I ran of of steam to do Sunday. However, there are many photos for all to enjoy on the new Visitors Gallery (with thanks to Gadge).

In addition to the MFAB Web Page photos, there are many more to view for FREE, on my own Gallery:-www.Photoboxgallery.com/arisam-photo.
All performing artists at this years MFAB, wishing to have the photo jpegs for their own Press and Marketing can also have these for FREE.

Just e-mail me at Cliff.astles@amita.uk.net, with the jpeg photo numbers, and I will ensure these are either e-mailed back to you, or if there are too many, a CD will be prepared for you, and posted to a postal address of your choice. Again there is NO CHARGE.

There is a Pub called the Saltcellar at the top of town on the way to the M6. Its about a 10/15 minute walk from town. It is a 2 for 1 pub and the majority of Items on the menu are within the 2 for 1 deal.  The food is great and so is the atmosphere. I would reccommend it to anyone visiting th Folk and Boat festival this year.
