TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

Earlybird Tickets are now all gone, but you can still save money by purchasing Weekend, Saturday or Sunday tickets. Or, of course. you can just buy individual concert tickets.

In case you’re holding back because you don’t know some of the performers and are wondering if you’d like them, we’re giving you the chance to listen to a few musical samples from this year’s headliners:

The amazing sounds of the London Philharmonic Skiffle Orchestra – and they don’t just play skiffle as you might think of it – can be experienced at length on www.last.fm/music/The+London+Philharmonic+Skiffle+Orchestra. Whatever your taste, we think you’ll enjoy it because it’s great fun.

If it’s not quite your style, then maybe the throbbing Celtic sounds of Mabon – which can be heard on www.myspace.com/mabonband - will be. Gorgeous music that swings like crazy. Supporting performers Ken Nicol and Phil Cool (yes, that Phil Cool) have some great samples of their music on www.nicolandcool.com.

Festival favourites Show of Hands – and if you haven’t heard them before then where have you been? – have some musical samples on www.myspace.com/showofhandsuk. Listen and enjoy.

Supergroup Little Johnny England – back together and stronger than ever after pursuing individual projects – have some storming examples of their current repertoire on www.littlejohnnyengland.co.uk/YouTube.php for your listening pleasure.

You probably know what sort of music to expect from The Lonnie Donegan Band with Peter Donegan, but you can catch up with the current sound and repertoire on www.last.fm/music/The+Peter+Donegan+Band. It’ll give you a good idea of the stomping performance which will send you off into the night on Sunday with a spring in your step and a smile on your face.

So, once you’ve listened to some or all of these, all you have to do is go to Ticket Guide/Box Office, book your Weekend, Saturday or Sunday tickets – or individual concert tickets if that’s your preference – and we’ll see you in June.
