Thank you all

Well, it's all over for another year, and the first thing to say is a big thankyou to all who made this year's Festival the great success it  was.

So - in no particular order - thanks to all the visitors, musicians, dancers, stallholders and boaters: without you the event would never happen.

Thanks also to all the stewards, who sometimes exceeded the duties they thought they would have but carried on uncomplainingly and enjoyed themselves at the same time.

Thanks to all the Fringe venues - many of whom provided food as well as liquid refreshment along with the music. And a major thankyou to St Michael's Church, which this year hosted two mainstage concerts as well as a host of fringe performers.

In case I've missed anyone out (it's hard to think straight when you've just finished staging an event like ours) - thankyou to you also whoever you are.

To help make future Festivals even better we'd like as much feedback from you as possible, so please get onto the Forum and let us know how the Festival was for you - good or bad we need to know. And if you're not already on our mailing list sign up now for advance information on the 2009 event.

We also need lots more stewards for next year so sign up as soon as you can so we can prepare well ahead.

And if you know anyone who might like to sponsor a concert - contact us as soon as possible so we can start negotiating.

Next year's Festival will be on the 19th, 20th and 21st of June. We look forward to seeing you there!
