This year, for the first time at the Festival, we've introduced a Comedy Stage for those of you who feel in need of a good laugh.

It's at the Royal British Legion at 6pm on Saturday, it's family friendly, and tickets are only £5 (and no, there are no concessions for this one).

Compered by, and starring, Festival favourite Dominic Collins (click the pic to run video) - who's been described as "Jim Royle meets George Formby in Coronation Street" -

and with the assistance of Keith Donnelly - according to Jasper Carrott "Keith could make sheep laugh" - the show will also feature several of Dom's friends from the Manchester comedy circuit.

It's sure to be a great night, and could well become a regular Festival attraction. Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to say you were at the first one? So book your tickets now and make sure you don't miss out.
